I have a knawing feeling that we are financially contributing to the building of a massive digital prison for ourselves where these systems can be used for even greater control of our already excessively restricted and highly overwatched lives. What might happen if, instead of cameras on us, the cameras were turned onto those who say they act on our behalf, so we could make sure they are actually behaving themselves behind closed doors?
