2 papers for you to read about the harms caused by masks

The first by Rancourt is his review of harms caused by face masks. It is not a published paper (probably because publishing hard-hitting and critical truths in certain journals is unwelcome these days!), but at the end of this document she will find about 30 references to some of the most recent papers and studies that have been conducted. It is useful to read Rancourt’s comments linked to the respective references, because they bring out the main points of note.

The Vietnamese study by MacIntyre et al. is worth a read; it wasn’t conducted in a ‘pandemic’ setting, but it highlights some of the potential issues with cloth masks versus medical masks being used properly in a clinical setting.
